[Design] Your favourite IMAP client?

An IETFer/friend today asked for a feature related to this. He uses
Mozilla mail and is happy with it but he needs a calendaring
application/client. He has downloaded Chandler but found it extremely
large to download considering he only wanted calendaring. His feature
request, therefore, was to make Chandler more modular so that one could
get only the calendar parcel and *not* the email parcel.

Even if we decide that the design ties calendar and email together too
tightly to separate them, we do need to figure out how Chandler could
work well for people who do not want to see their email appear in
Chandler. How would item-level sharing of Calendar events work for
those people?
