What if the outliner created Items for each idea in the outline? That 
way, it could grow as a person developed thoughts and there would be an 
existing relationship between Items.

There are many tools we say we would like in Chandler. The thing I 
don't want to see is that these tools are developed and exist in a 
mutually exclusive state. If we do that, we are building just another 
PIM. Like I've stated several times, I would love nothing more than to 
see these tools be merely verbs that give the nouns life.   In other 
words, an outline is merely a structured grouping of Items. It 
shouldn't live as an outline and only an outline.

What I'd like to see is the PIM without the M. We don't need the 
overhead of pointy hair in Chandler. ;) Managing information is silly. 
The power is in how it is used. If we can capture that, then resources 
used by the pointy hair can be reallocated somewhere else. :P
