[Design] email list archivesGary Yuen Thu, 2 Jan 2003 09:15:38 -0800
So I'm looking at the mailing list archives and say hey this is bad way to access things. Why I can't I ask my email client, I'm a member of this mailing list and I'd like to see archives. The server would have to change but why not? Maybe Chandler could do something like this. Many people have said people spend more time in the inbox and don't realy get work done. Any sort of computer home, we still have home pages for the internet and our browsers, don't we?, or knowledge worker system might be good replacement. Something like Digital Harbor may work or it may just be information overload. Has anyone thought of good ways to auto filter or categorize emails? If I tell my computer I'm working now, emails received from contact that's label personal may not be shown in a "work inbox" but may just show up somewhere as an indicator of new "other mail." Or something even smarter? Something has to be done. Gary
