Go ahead, I don't need folders. I agree that the folder is still a good UI metaphor. As long as the folder is essentially a *view* based on properties rather than being a physical location. This way documents can be in multiple folders. You can, in effect, have a folder that reflects any grouping of documents/emails/contacts/events that it makes sense to have depending on the context in which you are working at any point in time.
