[Design] OSAF mailing lists open to spam address harvesting

Hi,

Perhaps it's because I have been cookied by your mailing list software, and
perhaps not, but I notice when I visit the mailing list archives

http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/design/2002-October/thread.html

That many of us have our naked email URLs are shown to all.

I have changed a default preference, and now I "Conceal yourself from
subscriber list". I don't know if that's what I need to do, but it doesn't
appear to help how prior messages are listed. If that's not what I need to
do, well, what do I need to do?

I would suggest you change the list's default preference to make it hard for
spammers to harrass us. I get enough SPAM already thank you (the
mozilla/bugzilla lists are an embarassment), and I hope you can
(re)configure mailman to eliminate this bountiful, fall, spam harvest.

Thank you,

Jerry Asher
