[Design] automatic hyperlinking, explicit URI's

You're correct -- we intend to support the kind of automatic recognition of 
names, places, and dates which you describe.

Also, every view or page of information in our client will be identified 
with its own unique URI.  This is already in the prototype.  As you say, it 
has the advantage of being able to reference specific elements in someone's 
else's PIM.
