While I use currently Outlook for my personal/business needs, but for my
family calendar I use a defunct shareware program called Almanac (my 1996
copy still runs happily on Windows XP).

One of my favorite features of Almanac is that you can create Birthday or
Anniversary entries for the calendar. These entries automatically recur
annually and the calendar text states the age. So for my son's birthday this
year, the family calendar says "Max's 10th Birthday" and for our anniversary
date is says "Curt and Wasana's 12th Anniversary".

Its a small thing. But something I really appreciate (especially when it
comes to Uncle Fred's birthday, whose age I can never remember).

Curt
