[Design] blue sky/task list: 2D viewDavid Neeley Sun, 10 Nov 2002 15:50:05 -0800 (PST)
On Thursday, I attended a hands-on Adobe demo for InDesign 2.0. In it, you can switch on blue lines that link text boxes, to follow the jumps from one to another. What if when you click on a particular message or task, you could get similar lines to all parent/child or even sibling (parallel) tasks within the same group? --------------------------------------------------------- Rather than collapsing/expanding a tree, how about hiding parent tasks until the sub-task is clicked on? You could also grey out all other tasks that aren't part of the same tree, and connect the tasks with each other using arrows showing the dependencies.
