Hi Martin,

My company uses Cosmo, which is great IMHO, and we use Thunderbird with 
a "recent" nightly lightning plugin on our dektops/laptops.

Events/tasks etc seem to work fine in Lightning. So I guess the problem 
lies with Sunbird. Have you mentioned your issue on their mailing list?
