Seems like that'd be pretty hard to do.  CalDAV was built on WebDAV, 
WebDAV uses PROPFIND and REPORT.  Lisa has said that had they designed 
CalDAV these days, they'd almost certainly have built it on Atom, but 
that's neither here nor there.
