[Cosmo-dev] Cosmo tarball download statistics

There were some proposed features discussed recently that would be of 
primary benefit to administrators of standalone Cosmo instances.

While mulling the features, someone wondered how many people were 
downloading Cosmo releases.  That is, roughly how many people are trying 
Cosmo.

I've prepared a basic metrics for Cosmo downloads, available here:

   http://tsm.osafoundation.org/series/downloads:cosmo:tarball/browse

and part-way down the page on the downloads dashboard:

   http://dashboard.osafoundation.org/dashboard/downloads

Basic analysis is "averaging between 10-20 downloads per day" with 
repeated spikes above 30.  Peak of 70.

This metrics does not, and will never, account for SVN-based downloads 
of Cosmo code.
