Ok, understood that this is still open.  We're doing first_last now, but 
I too would rather have something more generally safe as we do see 
people availing themselves of utf-8.

Does Ootb.Collection.Name set resource name and display name?  I'd be up 
for something *like* default, but it'd be nice to have a nice display 
name, maybe even "First Last".  Are there new or associated tickets 
needing to be updated?
