no, it's not obvious :/

i have a sneaking suspicion that tomcat is sending this 501 before the
request ever makes it to the cmp servlet. there's no associated
information in the debug log for this request is there?

i have no idea what that Cookie2 is all about. i'm also suspicious of
the Content-Transfer-Encoding.
