[cosmo-dev] Help on some items

Hi Group,

 

It is not related to Cosmo. Posting to this list just for the expert help.

 

I am working on a small calendaring application. I am getting little
confused on the following aspects of a calendaring application. Can somebody
throw a light on how Cosmo has handled following?

 

1)      Recurring tasks & events : Any idea on this. How it can be handled?
How many instances should system create in case of Open ended recurrence
pattern?

2)      Data Sync : I am also working on a desktop application & a web
application. Desktop application can also work in the offline mode. This
would mean that there can be a mismatch in data of the Desktop and Web
interface. Please let me know the best practices about syncing of data
between Desktop & Server application in the context of a Calendaring
application.
