Debian Etch package for RSCDS (maintained by author) and trunk as of  
probably 2 weeks ago for applecal.  I don't have any automated means  
to upgrade them currently.

It's a good observation that they'll get out of date without  
addressing this issue.  Since applecal does a good amount of library  
installs, I did that step manually.  I'll keep this email around and  
try a "stop; svn up; start" cycle later to see if applecal does the  
right thing.  I'm guessing that if I automate the update the simple  
way, someday it will break from a library or data format change, but  
that's probably a better outcome than just agin.

RSCDS is tracking a Debian repo, so whenever I infrequently run an OS  
update on that box, RSCDS will get updated during those times.
