starting point to write a proxy to other calendaring systems, like

Brian Moseley made new branch for incorporating the latest version of
Abdera, which includes a streaming API which ought to improve
performance and reduce memory usage. This is particularly important
for web UI performance.

Jared Rhine posted information on how to turn on the debug menu in
iCal3. Unfortunately this menu is not that helpful for debugging
problems between iCal and Cosmo.

Travis Vachon tried to bring the massive Safari 2 thread to an end by
proposing that Safari 2 support be dropped in 0.11 and the no
javascript detection page be implemented until there were actual
complaints.
