Hi folks,
I am going to be at ApacheCon next week, and will be on vacation/
holiday the week after that. Here is a summary of where we are with
the current Cosmo releases.
Cosmo 0.9
This is not going to make it out the door today. We have completed
all the fixes for bugs, and are waiting for an rc build. Adam will
start a test run tonight, and we should know where we are by Monday.
Cosmo 0.10
If Matthew isn't able to fix bug 11297 today, it will be the last
scheduled fix for Cosmo 0.10, which should go into testing as soon as
we finish up with Cosmo 0.9. I will move the remaining Cosmo 0.10
bugs to Cosmo 0.11 and people can start working on those bugs.
Cosmo 0.11
Cosmo 0.11 will be a bugfix release, at least on the UI side. We
need some additional time to stabilize the overlay stuff, so rather
than jump into additional features for 0.11 we will take one week to
do bugfixes and a second week (more like week and a half due to
Thanksgiving) to work on additional test cases. That would put us at
having 0.11 go to testing around 11/30, but really QA could begin
after the week of bugfixes is over (anytime after 11/16). A
reminder that bugs for 0.11 are being taken in *severity* order, with
priority used to sort bugs within a particular severity level.
While I am out Jared Rhine will act as the release manager for Cosmo
0.9 and Cosmo 0.10.
Thanks,
Ted
