[cosmo-dev] Cosmo 0.9 and 0.10 priorities

This is a summary of an IRC discussion that we had this morning.
The primary topic was issues related to iCal3.

iCal 3 can only subscribe to its own user's collection using CalDAV.
To subscribe to another user's collection it still uses webcal. In
addition to this, our instructions for how to subscribe to a
collection using iCal are too short. In order to remedy this we
are going to do the following:

1. Create a new wiki page which only contains pointers to the client
side subscribe help pages (we already have these, 1 per client,
although some need updating)
2. Change the help link in the collection details dialog to point to
this new page
3. Strike the v2 from the iCal subscription pulldown on the
collection details dialog

Travis is going to do the work listed above in time for Cosmo 0.9.

We also discussed overall priorities for Cosmo 0.9 and Cosmo 0.10.

For Cosmo 0.9 there are two foci:

1. Shake out remaining problems with overlays in the UI - there will
be an IRC session on it on Wed Nov 7.
2. Improve our iCal3 support to a level where people using iCal3 on
Leopard can use it without getting cut to pieces.

The goal is to get 0.9 out the door this week.

For Cosmo 0.10 the priorities are
1. Additional bug fixes (these should already be done)
2. Roll in developer contributed test cases and test infrastructure
(primarily ID's in the web UI) (developers not working on iCal stuff
should be building tests for 0.10 this week)
3. Create/delete a collection via the web UI per Jared Rhine's
posting on hub priorities: <http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/
cosmo-dev/2007-October/005121.html>.
