This is great; congrats on the release folks!

Shouldn't we get the landing pages, announce list, and blog hit as well?

I heard a rumor that those updates were waiting on the service; if so, 
that's not good.  The Cosmo release announcements are separate from 
service updates (we agreed that here on this list), and we're still a 
number of days from a public service update announcement.  So both 
standing procedure and our current situation suggest that all Cosmo 
announcements should be sent out as soon as the content is ready.
