[Cosmo-dev] google calendar and cosmo

we've been working with folks on the calendar team over at google for
the last few months, and i'm pleased to say that google calendar can
finally subscribe to cosmo calendars.

here's how you can try this out:

1) log into your osaf.us account
2) use the account browser to grant a ticket on one of your calendars
3) go back to the calendar view and choose that calendar
4) click the "i" button to pop up the collection details dialog
5) choose "subscribe with apple ical 2.x"
6) copy the url from the "collection address" field and close the dialog
7) log into your google calendar
8) in the "calendars" sidebar, click the "+" icon next to "other calendars"
9) choose the "public calendar address" tab
10) paste the osaf.us url into the text field and click "add"
11) go back to your google calendar and wait for a while. eventually
google will fetch your data, add it to the "other calendars" section
of the sidebar, and show the events on the calendar canvas

i'm curious to see if this works for other folks too. let us know!

now it's up to us to add support for subscribing to google calendars :D
