If it requires changes to Cosmo, are we going to get into a nasty  
situation with upgrades of the desktop?   When we release 0.6.1, we  
are going to tell desktop dogfooders to use checkpoint  <fill in the  
right checkpoint here>.   So if Cosmo changes in 0.7, those people  
are going to have to upgrade in order to keep working against Cosmo  
0.7, right?  Or am I confused?
