[Cosmo-dev] displaying modifications in the account browser

i never noticed before, but the account browser doesn't handle
modifications particularly well. see the attached screenshot for a
visual of the collection info page. the item info page doesn't work at
all right now and shows a nasty jsp stack trace.

how should the account browser display modifications? should they be
labeled as events or items? since modifications by definition inherit
most of their attributes from the items they modify, most of the time
there won't be a distinct name for the modification (for the
collection info page) or any content or event properties (for the item
info page) except the one(s) that modify the original item.

i'm not looking for final design solutions but rather suggestions i
can implement quickly for 0.7. i still have hope that we will
undertake a comprehensive redesign of the account browser after
preview.
