We definitely need to share (at least) the "sent" bit, since the  
design requires the UI to show future "sends" as "updates" after  
you've successfully sent for the first time.

There are other uses of the "updated" and "edited" bits in the  
Chandler communication status column, but neither bkirsch nor I were  
sure on IRC yesterday as to whether they were what is intended.  
Probably the 3 of stearns, bkirsch and I should hash this out on IRC  
later today once the sun has risen in Hawaii :).
