Well we have some bugs related to random id's in the UI: <https:// 
bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9419>.   I don't know that  
this will solve all the problems with the tests, but it will help a  
bit.  Matthew can probably fill in some details here.
