Here's the summary of the activity on cosmo-dev for the week of May
27, 2007.
New threads:
-------
Nicola Piccinini reported a bug in Cosmo 0.6.1 and asked some
questions regarding the licensing constraints on derivative works of
Cosmo
+ Several people stepped up to say that the offending code was being
rewritten in Cosmo 0.7
+ Ted Leung replied and offered some suggestions about the licensing
issues - placing the notices file contents in a comment or in the
Cosmo about box.

Adam Peller followed up on a very old thread regarding Timezone
enabled date classes -- he said that the Dojo Project was creating an
extensions area and thought that the Cosmo timezone-enabled date
classes might find a good home there.
+ Matthew Eernisse expressed interest in seeing this happen but noted
that it would probably have to wait until after OSAF's preview release.

Ted Leung noted that merge tracking is coming to Subversion 1.5 and
that might be a help as Cosmo tries to move to shorter release cycles
after the preview release.

Don Levey had some questions about getting Cosmo 0.6.0 installed on
his server at home. The troubleshooting ranged into creating the
Cosmo database using the MySQL tools, setting the correct MySQL table
type in the Cosmo properties file, and replacing /home with /dav

his layout engine in order to integrate it more fully into the Cosmo
web UI.
+ Matthew Eernisse came back with a bunch of questions about the
revised code
