I don't have a problem punting, but if we decide later to put 
restrictions on icaluid then we may have to deal with data that is 
already in the db that violates these restrictions. 

I think we have a bigger problem and that is if users of cosmo/chandler 
export a calendar to .ics and distribute, they may unknowingly 
distribute the uuid (because icaluid and uuid are the same for items 
created in cosmo/chandler), which for cosmo 0.7 can give you access to 
that item.
