[Cosmo-dev] Cosmo 0.7 status

Hi folks,

Today is the scheduled day for Cosmo 0.7 to be code complete. If
you've been watching bugzilla at all, you know that there are still a
number of outstanding P1 and P2 bugs. This means that we are not
going to be code complete today. Based on the number of bugs
remaining and the SWAG estimates for those bugs, the fact that the
find rate of new bugs is still high, and the fact that we've only had
one collaborative QA session, it seems like the best course of
action at this point is to slip the Cosmo code complete by two weeks,
to July 30th. This has the effect of pushing back the entire
Preview schedule by 2 weeks as well.

As always, bugzilla reflects our best understanding of the state of
the world. Please pay attention to bug priorities, because a few
bugs are likely to get their priorities boosted in order to make sure
that we can give a good demo at OSCON.

Thanks,

Ted
