i don't know that anybody has ever tried to use cosmo with kontact,
korganizer or any other kde application.

from a brief scan of the korganizer handbook, it looks like you could
probably use the "calendar in remote file" mechanism to store your
calendar in cosmo. the "download from" and "upload to" urls would look
something like this:
<http://server:port/cosmo/home/<username>/<resource name>.ics>. but i
haven't tried this out (don't have a machine with kde available), so
no promises :)

i wonder if the kontact and korganizer folks are aware of caldav and carddav?
