I completed the CMP based group access sometime back - deferred UI
access because I had to understand dojo and I also assumed that the ui
used some kind of RPC for user (or group) management (I still don't know
the situation when rpc/model/* is used). I did have a look at the ui
code now and saw that the javascript uses CMP for user management, etc.
So yes it would be easy to implement the user interface for group based
access if we agree on a design (see my post on the design list).
I was hoping to have the basic Acl implementation working before doing
the user interface for group. But then I am still working on it due to
the complex nature of Acegi. I have already implemented most of the
interfaces, but I hope to have a working solution in any way and then
customize it to the way we want..

can you give me examples on what you mean by this? do you mean
programming different aspects to check for security before accessing
different services?
