In a single Cosmo collection this works (assuming "whenever Chandler
syncs" means whenever there are local changes to an item), but if the
item lives in multiple collections or the item has been shared by email,
the local Chandler may not have made any changes to the item, so I don't
think we want to automatically assume changes were made by the local user.
