exceptions in the Cosmo UI
<http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/cosmo-dev/2007-February/

Travis Vachon noted that there were situations where some Javascript
library versions could be out of sync. He proposed two solutions to
the problem.
* Matthew Eernisse suggested versioning the entire Javascript
directory and then using URL rewriting to reduce impact of having a
versioned directory.

002795.html>

Matthew Eernisse posted part of a discussion he had with Melissa Choy
about adding a Day and Month View to Cosmo's calendar. Lots of good

* The ensuing discussion revolved around to deal with various null-
like concepts in EIM

Jared Rhine noted that the custom Dojo build has reduced the size of
Cosmo's Javascript downloads to 444Kb. He also pointed out that
gzipping the file reduces it to 114Kb. He proposed either
mod_deflate or static delivery of a gzipped file as a way to make
this happen for Cosmo.
* Matthew Eernisse pointed out pitfall for IE6 users and gzipped
content
* After some additional discussion a server side solution based on
user-agent appeared to be a reasonable solution.

Bobby Rullo
Pulled over a piece of a conversation on the design list about
dashboard conflict resolution, pointing out that it might be
necessary to do some conflict resolution in the Cosmo dashboard.

for a Cosmo 0.6.1 branch so that the Cosmo 0.6 branch could be kept
checkin free per QA's request
* Brian Moseley did not want to see another branch off the trunk, but
could live with a temporary branch off of the Cosmo 0.6 branch until
Cosmo 0.6 was finally released
* Ted was fine with the temporary branch.
