Hmmmm - strange. I created a new task in Lightning and saved it. There
is no "Original iCalendar" section at all. I attach
(screenshot-cosmo-nq8-2.png) screenshot.
A task I created *in cosmo* does display the "Original iCalendar"
section as attached too (screenshot-cosmo-1-nq8.png).
I see what you mean though. If I close and restart Thunderbird I get all
the relevant information back.

I guess when one is happy with the overall service that the calendar
server provides, the web interface to Cosmo would not be used that much
but, when one travels, access to the *right* data (Events or Tasks)
should be accessible. Can't you have the "task-displayed-in-calendar"
flag so it could be displayed as a Calendar item without having to be an
event? This seems to me to be a serious issue that will cause confusion
and unnecessary "bug" reports...
