The patch appears to work. With the fix, Lightning can successfully 
create events on Cosmo. Tasks get created but start/end times don't seem 
to get carried across. I know tasks are quite new for Lightning so I'm 
not too fussed yet but I'll do some digging when I get chance.

I now have Cosmo built from SVN6493 (this morning) and am using 
Postgresql as the backend.
