You could run the query included in the bug and verify it returns 0 
results.  I would do that in addition to creating an out-of-sync 
collection before migration and verifying its fixed after migration.  
You can create an out-of-sync collection by:

1. create collection 1 with recurring event A
2. publish collection 1
3. subscribe to collection1 with Chandler 2
4. create collection 2 in Chandler 2, add event A
5. publish collection 2
6. add modification to collection 2, sync (don't sync collection 1 in 
Chandler 2 yet)
7. do migration
8. using Chandler 1, sync collection 1 and verify you see the 
modification added to collection 2 using Chandler 2
