he said that that the popup/separate window is slower than the old
mechanism and that he prefers to find the information in the firebug
console.

i don't understand why he has to keep arguing this. if it used to take
you 10 seconds to redeploy the webapp from the console, and then
suddenly you were forced to redeploy it from eclipse and it took 30
seconds, you'd be pissed, right?
