additional details now that I am caught up.

New threads:

Jared posted about a thread in chandler-dev on the problem of
resyncing with Chandler clients after a Cosmo instance was restored
from (not quite up to date) backups. The main discussion happend on
chandler-dev

Selenium. Links to useful documentation abound.

Ted revived the Magic URL discussion: http://lists.osafoundation.org/
pipermail/cosmo-dev/2006-September/001492.html. Priscilla re-sent
the end user workflows for this functionality: http://
lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/cosmo-dev/2006-September/
001537.html. The discussion resulted in a proposal for a Universal
URL spec: http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/cosmo-dev/2006-
September/001561.html. The key ideas of this spec are that a
collection will have a url that is useful to a browser, and that
other urls needed by popular clients will be embedded as meta data in
that page, in a fashion reminiscent of RSS autodiscovery. Both the
desktop and server projects have agreed to this proposal, but we will
not be implementing this functionality until Chandler 0.7alpha5 and
Cosmo 0.6, due to timing constraints with the Chandler 0.7alpha4
release.

Daniel Gradecak asked about using an alternative JCR implementation
in Cosmo
- Brian Moseley responded that JCR will no longer be supported once
Hibernate is integrated

001532.html

Brian Moseley wanted people's thoughts on object identity in Cosmo,
particularly with respect to Cosmo's usage/storage of UUID's.
- Ted Leung asked about Cosmo UUID's and Chandler UUID's and the
relationship between them
http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/cosmo-dev/2006-September/

to perform model layer validation.

001571.html

Travis Vachon discovered an interesting authentication problem while
trying to put an AJAX UI on top of CMP. The thrust of the problem
is that CMP uses HTTP BASIC Auth, but Cosmo's login system is form/
session based. The use of BASIC means that the browser will pop up
an authentication dialog, which will be confusing to users who have
already logged in using the form	.

sandboxes for Travis Vachon and Vinu Gopal
- Travis Vachon, Grant Baillie, and Jared Rhine all piped up with
nice things to say about SVK
