That would be a nice characteristic, if it indeed can be updated manually.
I'll note this in the enhancement, as an item for further research when
implementation time comes.  If you happen to test this while Hibernating, or
someone else knows, it'd be a handy factoid.

For the ecosystem as a whole, we should have a clear position on whether
synchronization is a client-side or server-side mediated mechanism, so we
can tell other system integrators how to interoperate.
