Ok,

So it looks to me that most people want to do a branch for 0.5 but  
not cut the release immediately.   That is fine by me.   The next  
question is, "when do we branch".   Since Brian still has a bit of  
code work to do, and since we have some technical design work to do  
before writing any code for the new sharing format, I'd suggest that  
we wait until Monday's (10/23) to branch.   After that, the only work  
that happens to that branch is bugfixes and the remaining recurrence  
work, and everything else goes into the trunk.
