i'm fine with the dialog suggestion. that one zoomed right past me.

however. i see no evidence to back up your claim that building
free-busy ui would take time away from other higher priority features.
looking at the 0.6 time estimates page, that feature fits easily into
the schedule - neither bobby nor matt is the critical path. indeed, i
think bobby's estimate is extremely pessimistic - i'd say it's more
like one or two days of effort for his part.

even if there was a timing issue - i never once claimed that free-busy
ui was more important than any other feature on the schedule, and i
would have been the first to say cut it if it was clear that there was
a scheduling conflict.

i think what you're really probably saying is that ppd have other
things they'd rather think about. fine. it's okay to say that without
bringing the development and qa schedule into it.
