I haven't heard a lot of discussion recently of items in multiple
collections ("item soup").  It seems like there are very complicated
security implications of item soup on a multi-user server.  A few of us
on the Chandler team discussed this a bit a while ago, it seems like we
should have a discussion about this at some point, if it hasn't already
been discussed and I've just missed it.
