well, people have asked for the ability to shut off different parts of
the ui. some have asked for no calendar ui. others have asked for no
browsing ui. jared has even noted a preference for no ui at all (tho
not in the context of osaf.us of course).

that is true, but it doesn't address the above concern, which we had
heretofore planned to solve with server-wide configuration toggles.

yea the amount of effort is definitely a concern.
