[Cosmo-dev] Maven2/ Spring 2.0

Hi Folks

Wrapping up this Struts to Spring work, I thought it might be a good 
time to work in the new features from Spring 2.0 (of which probably the 
most notable are the simplified config files). Also, there are a couple 
of problems I'm currently trying to solve related to error handling 
which will be simplified by this migration.

The easiest way to do this would be to wait until Maven 2 lands, as the 
spring jars are already in the maven2 repositories on ibiblio. If Maven 
2 lands within the next week, that would probably be fine, but if it's 
going to be longer it would be nice to put the spring jars in our 
repository.

Any thoughts?
