thanks. everything looks good - you just appear to be making reports
against the home directory url, which shouldn't be returning 501, but
definitely shouldn't be returning any events.

right, but see the related duplicate bug. the issue is a more general
one, with several types of requests returning 501 instead of the
proper response code.
