[Cosmo-dev] Sun Java 5.0 now available in Ubuntu

That is super-exciting news.

That was one of the most onerous things for getting your dev environment 
set up -- actually getting the runtime (and which one?) onto your 
machine (esp. if you're not already familiar with Java).

Having Java available without the stupid click-through license would be 
a huge step toward making it really ubiquitous on Linux, which is a 
favored platform for the cost-conscious small- and medium-size 
businesses we're targeting.
