Hello,
I have been using the cosmo test server to create a custom client.
Everything has been going well. Thank you!
I have the following questions about cosmo's CALDAV implementation.
Hopefully, one of you can point me in the right direction.
I apologize in advance for the naive nature of the questions, but I've only
recently been working with the WEBDAV and CALDAV protocols.
1) It appears that the home directory contains 1 calendar collection. Is
this a restriction imposed by the implementation, or, in general, should I
be concerned about processing multiple calendar collections in the home
directory?
2) Do calendar collection(s) only appear in the home directory?
3) To create test calendar data, I have been using Chandler client. So
far, I've noticed that all of the calendar events are inside the primary
calendar collection of my account. Is this the nature of a calendar
collection? In other words, does the calendar collection contain all the
CALDAV items as its immediate children?
4) Is there a way to filter a PROPFIND call in WEBDAV based on property
value? For example, lets say I only wanted all the CALDAV resources
(hrefs) that have been modified in the last week. As it works now,
PROPFIND on the 'D:lastdatemodified" resourcetype returns *all* the CALDAV
resources, and then I have to filter on those results.
Again, great work!
