[Cosmo-dev] VOTE: cosmo/scooby merge

I'm +0 on the merge.   I agree that there will be a number of  
benefits to doing the merge, and bcm has enumerated those quite  
well.  The only thing that makes me hesitate is the coupling of the  
release schedules and developer communities between the back and  
front end.   I don't see this coupling as a short term problem, but I  
think we may find that at some point in the future, we'll want to  
have some way to decouple some of that.   I don't think that is an  
insurmountable barrier, though.
