Ok, I must be a little dense tonight.  If the backup format is based on the
JCR spec (JSR 170 1.0, in which the terms "dump" and "backup" are not to be
found, actually), and after the refactoring, the JCR spec isn't provided,
then how would the JCR-based CMP backup system we just talked about work?
Would you implement just that portion of the spec and then wrap a CMP call
around that?

Is there a ticket open for a CMP-based backup and restore function?  May I
open one?
