that's what we're using now, although there's apparently an apache
project that will be consuming or replacing rome, which we should look

probably a class diagram illustrating the classes involved in the feed
service and some sequence diagrams showing the communications between
objects in various types of requests.

sorry i didn't get to this last week. it's my first priority this week.
