The idea seems fine; I've no problem with a Java-based migration tool. 
I like the idea of having a place to tack on features like you're doing 
(multi-db, multi-versions, etc).

I'm currently still working on supporting Maven 2-based builds 
(directory moves, command changes, build.properties gone away, etc) in 
the service automation, so I unfortunately can't turn around a test for 
you quickly; no ETA yet.

It'd be nice for this jar to be included in Snarf bundles.
