I usually add it as trunk including the precise version no. while
reporting bugs in both Cosmo and Chandler (I use the guided form). From
a developer's point I feel that should be the correct way since they
will know the exact version in which the  problem occurs. 

Other people outside OSAF (or OSAF users) using Cosmo may want to try
out the latest trunk and would like to report bugs based on the trunk
version. So yes I guess there should be a trunk version - but trunk
itself is confusing since it could be any trunk version and if the
reporter fails to add the trunk version  information it will become
difficult to document and track. I suggest pre-0.6 (pre-0.7,etc) and a
field to enter the trunk revision number (documenting how to find that).

Just my thoughts.
